Few Expected Requirements of Metalworking Fluids.
1. First and foremost: It must be eco-friendly, free from all hazardous, banned or listed or restricted substances for use, which affect human health and environmental safety norms. The advisories are set forth in the environmental health and safety norms (EH and SN), registration, evolution, authorization, and restriction of chemicals (REACH), registration of hazardous substances (RoHS), biocidal product regulation (BPR), hazardous material identification system (HMIS), and the Globally Harmonized System (GHS)
No metalworking fluid can be absolutely free from hazardous chemicals. If it is free from one, the other one will always be present. But it must be free from the most hazardous substances which are totally banned or listed which affect human health, like heavy metals (lead, mercury, barium, zinc, etc), phenols, chlorophenols, ortho phenols, nitrites, nitrite releasing agents or any other type of dioxins, and preferably free from chlorinated products(CPW), sulphur, formaldehyde, boron, secondary amines, Our products are completely free of banned and listed substances. Free from chlorinated paraffin wax and sulphur. Boron and secondary amines are present within permitted levels, considered to be safe as per the advisories issued as of date by the EU authorities
2. It must increase productivity and reduce production costs by improving tool life, reducing electrical power utility and consumption oil, reducing machinery downtime, improving rinsing, cleaning, flushing properties of oil emulsion, and reducing wheel dressing frequency in grinding operations. It must minimise rejection of workpieces because of corrosion/rust, wear and tear, grinding burn marks etc.
Our offered products are formulated to provide optimum performance in all aspects and in all demanding working conditions. Heavy-duty oils are formulated with nanoparticles, and complex esters to provide high EP and wetting properties without using chlorine and sulphur. It is formulated with biocides and fungicides to extend sump life. Maintain a clean working environment. They are further fortified with advanced anti-corrosion additives and metal deactivators.
